Right, so introduction are in order. Aside from the flashy, screaming for attention use of mixed caps in the title, I have decided to share my knowledge of all fun things to do (activities and all) --in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)-- that will perhaps appeal to all the university folk out there (and not just). While my university days are behind me, usual life stuff (cars, houses, booze, the ocasional balloon animal), have constricted my budget to that of a freshman on campus. Thus, with a summer on the horizon, all events, activities must remain local to keep cost low. So for example instead of highlighting Atlantis' new shark exhibit in the Bahamas, I may opt for the shark tank at the local Toronto zoo (they have one don't they?). Anywho I hope my point is clear. Stuff to do in the Toronto area that will not break one's wallet.
Hopefully this will take us thru the summer of 2010 and come winter we can go back inside and lay back in our good ol' routine of work-eat-sleep.
Oh, and I realize this will not be a complete list. There are dozens of events and stuff going around the city (it's a big city damnit) and I will be biased on reporting stuff that I like (or family likes); so for more info on the Toronto Jazz Festival or the Collingwood Book Club Association I invite you to seek Google. Toronto.com is also a good source for events in and around the city.
