Live concerts

There is no better kept secret than the feeling and experience of watching your favorite performer live in concert. Those who've done so already are hooked, those who didn't are clueless. Well, nevertheless it's time to head out and watch your favorite performer, should they be coming to town this year. In the past I used to travel to faraway places to watch my bands, but nowadays it's all about the budget. Luckly we live in Toronto, which has some great promoters, always bring in bands from every genre.

Now big bands do ask for $50-80 for the good seats. If there are bands out there with $80+ tickets I urge you to grab a fork and a backstage pass, get in there and start gouging eyes out. Those f'in posers deserve nothing less. Yea, I'm talking to you, U2..where the hell do you get the nerve to charge 4 times more than everyone else? Your music is better? There is no better in music, it's in the ear of the beholder.

Now back to the majority of bands who charge a reasonable price. To get that discounted in the GTA, follow the pizza pizza wagon. On ticketmaster they have an offer of $11.11 seats for some of the biggest artist concerts in town, from the rock and roll of KISS to the lame lyrics of Rihanna. When browsing for tickets, choose the pizza pizza option and enter the password "pizzapizza". Now is that a discount or what? You pay that much on a pizza for cryin out loud.

Point of order..concert earnings go in large to the bands. So if you like your group/singer and would like to support him/them then go see them live. Stop paying for those stupid itunes like your computer illiterate grandma where 99% of proceeds go to RIAA.

Cost: $11.11 and up
