Should you participate? Yes

Should you help out? Yes

Should you have a good time? Yes

Should you punch out any mayors, candidates, wannabe politician douchebags who couldn't care less about the marathon or the charities it supports and just wants the free publicity? Oh dear, Yes

The Toronto Waterfront marathon just ended and as always it was memorable. Alas this year I was out of shape so the only way to be a part of it was as a volunteer on the sidelines, but hey..we got great weather, 20,000 runners, and a whole lot of pissed off motorists who couldn't get to their destination in time. Bo hoo, I used to live on Queens Quay W, a route completely segregated from the rest of the city thru three marathons a year. I survived, so suck it up. I really recommend becoming a part of Toronto's marathons while you still can, before some yahoo nutjob decides to get rid of them.

The Oasis Zoo Run is coming up Saturday, October 16. That's not gonna be too cold for ya, now would it boy?
