Do you like strong alcoholic drinks or do they make you cough uncontrollably as soon as the vapors hit your face? Hint: you do not take a big whiff of a strong spirit trying to smell it like a fine wine. Just a very brief sniff from afar, I prefer to keep it away from my lungs and put it in my stomach instead. Enough of it will find its way into the lungs later on. I prefer to let my tongue and taste buds sample the spirit. If you fancy yourself as a liquor connoisseur or just want to try something you cannot find at your local monopoly LCBO, head on down to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this Friday after work (or in place of work) for the Tequila Tasting Show. Be warned you may only find Tequila as the only spirit here, so you also have to ask yourself...Do I like Tequila?
Warning: this photo may give your computer screen genital sores
Yum!
Now be warned, the ticket prices are a little spicy. Especially with the holidays coming, your budget may be going down faster than Tila Tequila at a Juggalo concert. Either way, if you do plan on attending do promise me two things:
1. I will not drive there myself thinking "well I'll stay until the first signs of buzzed then leave" and
2. I will not go there just for the high alcohol content. You should go for tasting and sampling the different varieties, besides there are better alternatives for high alcohol content at your local LCBO store, courtesy of our Czech friends.
Can also be used for cuts and scrapes and to remove paint or your stomach lining.
Cost: $40 with promo code MEX10
